Always Welcome

A fun-filled day to kick-off summer? It's right here!

Bring your family, bring your friends, and bring your lawn chairs for Always Welcome, the Municipality of Kincardine's newest event celebrating our incredible community.

There's free admission to this all day event in Victoria Park at 707 Queen Street in Kincardine with an incredible variety of things to do starting at noon and continuing throughout the day to sunset.

A traditional fire-keeper will keep a fire throughout the day.

10 a.m. - 12p.m. 

Indigenous Learning Circle teaching the significance of the sunrise & sunset. All are welcome! Don't forget your lawn chair.

12 - 4p.m.

  • A smudging ceremony and greetings from the Mayor will commence the opening of the Welcome Centre at the Kincardine Centre for Performing Arts. Cupcakes for all!
  • Boiler Beach will be onsite at Victoria Park to host a youth talent showcase and play some songs of their own.
  • Food vendors will be set-up at the park, so please bring some cash to enjoy their offerings.
  • Community groups will be set with family-friendly activities and information.
  • There will be a community yoga class with Eric from Shakti Rhythm Yoga.
  • Muralist Lambertus De Graaf will be giving informative walking tours of downtown mural work he has completed.
  • Blinky will be there!
  • Community art project... more details to come!

8 - 9 p.m.

The Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band will play at Victoria Park.
