Canada Day Kick-off in Tiverton

Join us for a full day of fun to Kick-off Canada Day in Tiverton on June 28th, 2025!

This free, family-friendly event kicks off at 11 a.m. with a market and family fun., a barbecue hosted by the Tiverton and District Lions Club, food vendors, lawn games, and family activities.

Create your own "drive-in car" and Barbeque by the Tiverton Lions

The Tiverton Lions will be hosting a barbecue from 5 -7 p.m.

At this time, we'll have cardboard boxes and craft supplies on hand, or create your own at home so you're ready to roll for the show. All children who've created and rolled on in with their cardboard ride will receive a glow-stick and be entered to win a prize for the best in show!

Show Time!

Moana 2 will play in the Tiverton Annex, with showtime set for 7 p.m. and the Tiverton and District Lions Club will have concessions available for purchase.

Don't forget your lawn chairs and blankets! 

Canada Day Weekend Fireworks

Sunday, June 28th, 2025 at Dusk

Join us in celebrating this Canada Day weekend with a firework show! The show start at dusk from the North Pier. 

Bring your lawn chair or blanket down to MacPherson Park for an incredible view. 

A rain date is scheduled for Monday, June 30th, 2025 at dusk. Check @kincardinewelcomes on Facebook for any event updates.

Canada Day Parade

Get your spot on Queen Street in lakeside downtown Kincardine so you're ready for the parade when it leaves Victoria Park at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1st 2025, and makes its way to Harbour Street, finishing at the flag pole. Everyone's welcome to join in and walk in the parade, too!

Canada Day Ceremony and Celebrations

The opening ceremony starts in Macpherson Park at 11:30 a.m. and then launches right into the family fun from there including:

• Family fun activities
• Barbecue by the Kincardine and District Lions Club
• and so much more!
